Suggested Wine Pairing: Jacuzzi Valeriano
INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 pounds tri-tip steak
- 1 1/2 tbsp your favorite BBQ rub (we used Santa Maria Seasoning Mix)
- 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce (we used a fermented Apricot BBQ, but we also love good old Sweet Baby Rays)
- 1 box slider buns
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pre-heat your grill to high
- Season the tri-tip with the BBQ rub and place on grill
- Sear the meat on one side for about 4 minutes and then repeat on opposite side
- Move to the side of the heat source and lower heat, grill for about 20 more minutes turning 1-2 times
- Cook until meat reaches 135 degrees, remove from heat and cover loosley with foil
- Place buns on grill for 2 minutes or until slightly charred
- Serve and enjoy!
