A friend of mine forwarded your most recent newsletter – it made her think of me because I’ve written a wine and food pairing cookbook called “100 Perfect Pairings” that’ll be released from John Wiley & Sons in April, with the second in the series scheduled for a year later.

So I just wanted to say – right on! People are so daunted and intimidated by the idea of pairing wine and food that any and all simple, clear advice is, I think, a welcome addition to the conversation. I also love your secret at the end – I have the same tip in my book, that putting wine IN the food almost always helps a wine GO with the food!

Hi Friends,

We just returned from celebrating our anniversary weekend when we had a great time in large part due to Jacuzzi! Enjoyed the “The Wine Guy Unplugged” party Saturday night and danced our socks off yesterday with Cynthia Glinka and Andoni and his band at the “Taste and Twirl” event.

Now we are calendaring for the next four months and want to know more about the Harvest Dinner and Dance Event—time, band, cost and any other particulars—menu—that you can supply.

Keep doing what you’re doing—we love it!
